Supernova Taq is a modified version of our highly purified Taq polymerase. This proprietary formulation allows controlled initiation of the polymerization reaction, reducing/eliminating non-specific amplification artifacts caused by low temperature polymerization. It requires an initial incubation at 94ºC for 15 minutes to activate the polymerase.
Pre-formulated Supernova Mix:
Supernova pre-formulated mix is a convenient ready-to-go PCR reaction mixture already containing our “hot start” Supernova Taq polymerase, Buffer and dNTPs. Simply add an equal volume of water containing your primers and template and amplify.
